The meeting in your mind: Your 6 Advisors™

"6 Advisors" is a metaphor for the six primary domains of thought. By personifying these domains of thought as 6 Advisors, you can easily step back and objectively observe your thought processes with less emotional attachment to beliefs, habits, perspectives, and attitudes that no longer serve you. It is at this point that the way is clear for extraordinary personal growth and development.

6 Advisors Coaching

Picture yourself at the head of a boardroom table with six advisors sitting around. All day long, these advisors are giving you thousands of pieces of advice. And while it may seem that up to this point you have been at the mercy of your thoughts and habits, YOU can learn to be in charge of the meeting that runs in your mind and hence, learn to take new actions that will lead you to the success and happiness that you dream of.

All of us have advisors in our lives. Some are friends, co-workers, bosses, parents, mentors, coaches, and even paid consultants. You also have 6 Advisors in your mind — six very different and unique thought processes that influence your decisions, beliefs, attitudes, behaviors, and emotions. Just like the advisors in your life, these habits of thought are just 'Advisors'. YOU (as the 'Chairman of the Board') can choose to listen to or ignore these Advisors. YOU can be in charge of your thoughts. YOU can choose which advice you want to listen to.
Moreover, and most importantly, nothing is going to change in your life until you become aware that you are not your Advisors – you are NOT your thoughts – and you do have a choice to think differently.

Throughout every day there are critical moments when your success or failure will be determined by the choices you make. We call these moments in time Pivotal Moments™. At every Pivotal Moment™, YOU make the choice of what you will or won’t do, how you will act or react, what you will believe, and what you will communicate. Learning to recognize these Pivotal Moments™ and then make better choices is the key to success. Do you choose to let your Advisors run amuck and control your life, or do YOU choose to be the leader in control?

The breakthrough in your success and happiness (on the job, in your life, in your relationships) will occur once you understand how YOUR mind works and you learn to master the scientific principles and practices for utilizing your natural, innate strengths.

Once you master these principles, you will no longer to do battle with your emotions, indecision, procrastination, damaging reactionary behavior, low self-esteem, limiting beliefs, fears of the future, disappointing failures in yourself or others, or a host of other obstacles that seem to stand between where you are today and who you aspire to be.

This is not your typical training program.

I will sit right next to you at the head of your Boardroom table to explore your 6 Advisors™ and hear what they have to say to you. Much like the people in your life who advise you, your loudest and most insistent advisors are not necessarily giving you good advice. In fact, the wise ones or your sages are often quiet, confidently unattached, and available if you ask them for help. Through the 6 Advisors™ Coaching Practicum, you will:

  1. Clearly understand the relationship between YOU and your thoughts, recognize and become aware of how your thought processes have been running your life.
  2. Discover that YOU can choose to think differently and I will provide you with the principles and techniques needed for doing so.
  3. Recognize Pivotal Moments™ throughout your day when YOU can choose to be in control of your thoughts versus letting your thoughts control your life AND I will teach YOU to use your strengths to make better choices at those Pivotal Moments™.
